Challenges! Come roam around the city center and complete fun tasks organized by various associations and clubs. The event takes place on Wednesday, April 2nd, from 16:00 to 20:00, and the afterparty will be held at Las Palmas! 🧡
The theme is superheroes, so put on a cape, a mask, or a full costume and explore the city with a group of 2-6 friends. If Possible attend the event kickoff at 16:00 at Satamatori, where you’ll receive information about the event. As you complete challenges, you’ll earn points – and the team with the
most points will have their team name in the Yo house lobby! 😍

Are the LTKY Guild Olympics just a physical sport? Answer: no. After basketball, the next sport in the Guild Olympics is one of the most legendary games in E-sports: Counter-Strike 2! The kings of this tactical FPS game will be decided in the guild CS tournament starting at the end of March.
The group games will be played between 17.03. – 02.04. at home. Never seen before in the Free State of Skinnarila, this is the first plenary session of the SVV in the style of lappeen Ranta.
The Sitz party will take place on Sunday 6 April from 18:00 in Kellari. The dress code is party stereotype, so you can arrive with your tie askew and complain about how youth is ruined, or put on your finest suit and show off your big stack of bills. You can also arrive in overalls if you feel more comfortable.
The Sitz party is organised together with the political youth and student organisations in Lappeenranta (Coalition Party, SDP, Left Party and Greens). You can participate regardless of your party affiliation (or lack thereof).

Can you find your way home in the wee hours of the night? How quickly can you fetch water for a spreading Wappu bonfire? Do you know what to do when your friend passes out?
Gather a team of 2-6 people and come test your skills at Lutuset’s Wappu Skills Competition! You can also come alone.
The checkpoint round starts from the bonfire spots (towards the lake from the LUT bus stop) at 12 PM and lasts until about 2 PM, after which there will be sausages, coffee, and tea available for hanging out.
At the end of the day, the winner of the competition will be announced. The best team will be rewarded! The event will be held rain or shine, following the scouting tradition. The event is alcohol-free.

We will run in two different series:
Kilpa: Ready to drag your feet to lactic acid? The race series is for those who want to test your limits and compete seriously. Kilpa-series includes a 10 km distance, which offers a challenge to experienced or ambitious runners! Both the 3 fastest women and men will be awarded tickets to next autumn’s Lötköttely!
Rento: Runner’s knee doesn’t sound comfortable? Do you miss a more relaxed run? Still sore from a marathon? In the Rento-series, you can run a lighter 5 km distance, where the goal is not to win but to enjoy your own pace and the scenery! Among the participants in the Rento-series, 3 tickets to next autumn’s Lötköttely will be raffled!

Participation doesn’t require any special equipment. we will have some equipment for competitors to borrow if they want to. You also don’t need to know the event techniques, since we will go through the techniques before the competition and we will also show how each event is done. A student from Lappeenranta, can you already hear Lahti calling? Lahti student, are you ready for kyykkä and a sitz party?
The traditional LTKY Lahti Excursion takes us to the second home city of LUT University! On 19.4. at 8:30 we leave from Yliopistonkatu 34 (at the front of the university) by one bus towards Lahti. We will be heading back to Lappeenranta at 21:00. Please note, that the bus ride is an important part of the excursion, and this excursion with the bus ride is meant for students leaving from and returning to Lappeenranta.
The program is filled with fun activites! We will kyykkä in Radiomäki field from 11 to 14 and have a sitz at Lahti market square from 16 to 20. Students in Lahti can participate in the events in Lahti for free.
A meal is also included in the price of the excursion. Restaurant Hook also offers food at a -50% discount (in addition to the meal included in the excursion price) and student-priced drinks.

Visit the Mental Health Monday point in the LUT lobby on Monday, April 21st, between 11 am and 1 pm. You can get a performance mark on the Wappupass by participating in the on-site checkpoint with the theme “What supports your mental well-being?” The goal is to share the everyday things that help you cope, positively impact your mental well-being, and see other people’s responses to the topic. Are you afraid of human contact at a party? Do you feel nauseous when you eat at a sitz? Don’t worry! The Polytechnic Willimies Club PoWi is organising the already traditional biggest sitz in the universe, Radiositsit, on 25 April.
At these sitzsis, everything has been thought out for you. You don’t have to worry about whether your special diet has been considered, as you can make the food yourself. The placement at these sits is also completely unregulated; you can sizzle with friends in the bonfire, alone at home without lighting or in the sauna (the latter is a great experience!).

LaTeRes is once again organizing the popular Wappupaintball event this year!
The games will take place at the custom-built arena by Saimaan Palju, located in the Mustola industrial area at Pelkolantie 85, 53300 Lappeenranta.
Each participant is responsible for arranging their own transportation to the event, but we recommend carpooling. The games will be played from 12:00 to 14:00, so please arrive on time.
Dress code: Overalls and/or combat-style clothing — or anything you don’t mind getting dirty. (The paint from the paintballs is water-soluble and washes off with regular laundry.)
The event costs 40€, which includes the marker (gun), air tank, 500 paintballs, mask, and guided games.
Please note that this is a non-alcoholic event, but we recommend bringing your own water and snacks.
