Now it’s time for Hässi!
The magazine is traditionally published at the Wappu opening on March 31 at 12:00. It’s time to start celebrating the longest Wappu in Finland immediately. No one wants to wait until the evening for bars to open, so let’s start celebrating already during the day!
Combo tickets (Hässi + Day Party) will be sold on March 23 and March 26 from 11:00 to 13:00 in the lobby of the Student Union building for €10. With a combo ticket, you can skip the worst queues at the Wappu opening and pick up your magazine and ticket without waiting. At the Wappu opening, prices will “jump,” and Hässi (€10) and Day Party tickets (€2) will be sold separately.
After the Wappu opening, PoWi will organize the WappuKaraWaan, where students march in a procession to the Day Party, announcing to the city that Wappu has begun. The procession departs from the bonfire site at 13:40, led by the Wappu Pope. The Day Party will be held at Las Palmas from 15:00 to 19:00.

Happy Wappu! It’s that time of the year again – of course, we’re talking about LTKY’s Wappu Task Race! Come roam around the city center and complete fun tasks organized by various associations and clubs. The event takes place on Wednesday, April 1st, from 16:00 to 20:00, and the afterparty will be held at VALTA Nightclub!
The theme is children’s birthday party. Explore the city with a group of 2-6 friends. Your team can be registered from 15:00 onwards. If possible, attend the event kickoff at 16:00 at Satamatori, where you’ll receive information about the event. As you complete challenges, you’ll earn points – and the team with the
most points will have their team name in the Yo house lobby!
The event is free, but you will need a ticket for the afterparty. You can purchase the ticket with or without the overall patch. You can come and claim your overall patch, either from the harbour or on arrival at the bar.

The checkpoint round starts from the bonfire spots (towards the lake from the LUT main entrance) at 2 PM and lasts until about 3:30 PM, after which there will be stick buns, coffee, and tea available for hanging out.
At the end of the competition, winners will be announced. The best team will be rewarded! The event will be held rain or shine, following the scouting tradition. The event is alcohol-free.

Spring10, organized by SC Lötköt, is a running event for all students. Whether you’re a dedicated runner doing half-marathons for fun or someone who doesn’t even own running shoes, you’re welcome to join!

Ready to push your limits? The competitive category is for those who want to challenge themselves and race seriously. The distance is 10 km, offering a proper challenge for experienced or goal-oriented runners. The top 3 women and men will be rewarded with tickets to next autumn’s Lötköttelyt event.
Casual:
Not a fan of runner’s knee? Looking for a more relaxed run? Does a marathon sound exhausting? In the casual category, you can enjoy a lighter 5 km run where the goal is not to win, but to enjoy your own pace and the scenery!

The traditional LTKY Lahti Excursion takes us to the second home city of LUT University! On 18.4. at 8:30 we leave from Yliopistonkatu 34 (at the front of the university) by one bus towards Lahti. In Lahti we will have fun activities, including kyykkä and a sitz party at the Lahti market square. We will be heading back to Lappeenranta at 21:00.
Registration for the event opens on 2nd of April at 12:00 in kide.app. Registration closes on 15th of April at 15:00 or when all seats are booked.
