Awards

LTKY awards various recognitions, awards and medals each year. Unless otherwise stated, the award will be announced at LTKY’s annual celebrations.

Teaching awards are recognitions given to LUT’s teaching staff for their excellent teaching, which are awarded annually to the lecturer of the year, the course of the year and, where appropriate, to the best international teacher (The Best International Teacher).

Medals are awarded to former or current members of the Student Union or outsiders who have meritoriously contributed to the activities of guilds, hobby associations, or the Student Union. The badges are gold, silver and bronze.

The titles of Teekkari and Kylteri of the Year are awarded to members of the Student Union who have served meritoriously to promote teekkari and kylteri culture.
