Opening hours: 6-23
Duration of reservations: 1-3 hours. Please take one reservation per day.
Booking price:
4€/h for LUT/LAB members.
8€/h for others.
NOTE! The keys must be picked up at the Lahti Tiedepuisto information desk before 16., if your reservation is between 16-23.
The keys must be returned after the shift to the Lahti Science Park information desk and after 16 the key will be returned to the mailbox.

The Student Union of LUT University LTKY and the Student Union of LAB University of Applied
Sciences KOE have acquired an event space in the center of Lahti. The purpose of the space is to
serve as a meeting place connecting students and city residents, helping students become more
strongly attached to the city. The facilities, operating on two floors, are suitable for sits parties,
game nights, and other events. The space includes various rooms for different needs.

Aleksanterinkatu 26 event space, Lahti
§ 1 The person reserving the space undertakes to pay the usage fee according to the price list to
the student union for reserving the space.
§ 2 The space booker is obliged to inspect the space before the start of the reservation.
§ 3 The person reserving the space gets familiar with the cleaning instructions for the space and
follows them. Additional cleaning work will be invoiced separately, if necessary, according to the
cleaning service provider’s invoicing. If the space is messy at the start of the reservation, the space
booker is obliged to inform the coordinator* about it with a photo.
§ 4 The person reserving the space is liable for compensation for the full value of the damage
caused to the property or chattels, and the person reserving the space is obliged to report the
damage to the coordinator*. When the insurance compensates the damage, the booker
compensates the amount of the deductible paid by the student union.
§ 5 The premises must be cleaned, empty and in order by the end of the reservation, no later than
08:00 in the morning, unless a later handover of the premises has been agreed in advance.
§ 6 The person booking the space carefully familiarizes himself with the security instructions of the
space and follows them during the reservation.
§ 7 The space reserver is obliged to inform the student union of the reason for his reservation. If
the stated purpose of use is deviated from, the student union has the right to suspend the
reservation and empty the premises.
§ 8 Smoking and staying overnight on the premises is strictly prohibited.
§ 9 The space booker is responsible for not violating Finnish law and good manners during the
reservation. LTKY has the right to demand the establishment of order control at events with more
than 100 people.
§ 10 If the booker violates any of the previous sections, the board of the student union has the
right to ban the booker from using the student union’s premises and goods.
§ 11 Space reservation can be canceled free of charge 2 weeks before the reservation date.
