You can participate until 19th of April 2026, and your prank must be submitted no later than 22nd of April 2026. Registered teams commit to representing lappeen Ranta in the national prank competition in the autumn if they win the local round. The winners will be announced at the Wappu picnic.

What is a jäynä?

A jäynä is a practical prank or happening intended to create joy for the pranksters, the target, and the wider audience. It is characterized by cleverness and the use of technology — sometimes to achieve something seemingly trivial.

Plan → Execute → Document → Participate

Brainstorm and plan your jäynä with your team. Carry it out safely and in good spirit according to the competition rules. You can find the complete competition rules in the attached file. Document the jäynä for judging — the required format is video. Remember to ask the target for permission to film. Submit your jäynä through the forms below to enter the competition.

Note! Teams must have 2–8 members, and all members must belong to LTKY.
