The first order round for teekkari caps is now open. So fresher, to be able to wear your shining white teekkari cap for the very first time after the teekkari baptism on Wappu, make sure to order your cap on time!
Teekkari cap is similar to the Finnish graduation cap (Finnish students cap). The cap has seven corners and a tassel which hangs over the right edge of the cap.
Teekkari cap costs 135 € for students who began their studies this autumn and 155 € for older tech students. The deadline for this first round of orders is Wed 26.11.2025. We advise freshers to order the cap on this first batch, because the price will go up during the second order batch. You can try on caps at the LTKY offices in both Lappeenranta and in Lahti (during opening hours), so you will order the right size.
You can order your teekkari cap from LTKY’s shop. The cap will be paid upon ordering and the caps will arrive at the LTKY office before Wappu. Freshers (including Master’s freshers) will get their caps on Wappu eve, after teekkari baptism. If you cannot attend to the baptism, you can collect your cap from the office after Flora day (13.5.).
Other students can collect their caps (or have them mailed) from the LTKY office when the caps arrive. Please note, that you will not receive a personal message about the caps. Please follow LTKY’s channels and social media, we will post when caps have arrived at the office and can be collected.
