Lahti Student HUB

The Student Union of LUT University LTKY and the Student Union of LAB University of Applied Sciences KOE have a space in the city center of Lahti, at Lanunaukio at Rautatienkatu 26, Lahti. The space is called Lahti Student HUB and its purpose is to serve as a meeting place connecting students and city residents, which will help students become more attached to the city.

The space has two smart TVs with HDMI cables, wifi, air conditioning and sofas with coffee tables. The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, airfryer, microwave, coffee and water kettle and dishwasher. In addition, the space has plenty of board games and a PlayStation 5. The space has a small toilet, which is not fully accessible.

Reservations can be made between 06-24, taking into account that there is silence between 22-07. The space can accommodate a total of 52 people.

By renting Lahti Student HUB for your recruitment events, you get a unique opportunity to meet talented young people face to face. We offer companies the opportunity to rent the space for student-focused events for 400 euros per day.

Your company can organize the event with a program, catering and possible pre-registration. For our part, we help ensure that the event gets wide visibility and students find their way to the venue. Final cleaning is included in the price.

Information for student organisations

Student associations of LAB and LUT students can reserve space for non-profit events at a membership price that has been announced to the associations by KOE and LTKY. For collaborative events, the space rental costs 400€.

Cancellation of the reservation is free of charge no later than 2 weeks before the event. After this, the student organization is obliged to pay KOE the reservation fee according to the original reservation. 

Cancellation of the reservation is free of charge no later than 2 weeks before the event. After this, the student organization is required to pay KOE 10€ or 20€ according to the original reservation, whether it is a cooperative event or a non-profit event.

The reservation fee covers the use of food and cleaning supplies found in the cabinets, as well as the consumption of water and electricity. Final cleaning is not included in the price. The space must be clean, empty and in order by the end of the reservation.

A student organization can request additional information about the space and access to its reservation calendar from LTKY or KOE persons.
