Jäynä is an integral part of Finnish teekkari culture. Jäynä is a practical joke that utilizes the means of technology, which entertains its creators and the general public. The purpose of the Jäynä is not to ruin, break, destroy or steal.
Every autumn, TEK organizes the nationwide Jäynä competitions, to which each Finnish technology student community sends its representation. In order to find out the representation of lappeen Ranta for the national competition, the Student Union of LUT University LTKY thus announces that the summer Jäynä competition starts now! The competition time is until 14.9. at 22:45. Also the rules for the nationwide competition will be found shortly from the same place.
LTKY announces the best Jäynä of lappeen Ranta in a Jäynä Finals later in autumn. Culture division members serve as a jury. May the best Jäynä win!
