General information about online shopping
The online shop sells products created by the Student Union of the LUT-University and its member associations, as well as possible partners. The prices of the products include VAT. The LUT-University Student Union reserves the right to change prices and shipping costs.
Ordering
Products are ordered online at https://ltky.fi/en/shop/ via the shopping cart. Orders will be confirmed by e-mail, stating the price of the order, delivery costs and the products ordered. To receive an order confirmation, the customer must provide an e-mail address when placing your order.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of delivery in force.
Order and payment confirmation
Confirmation e-mail will be sent to the customer, where the customer can see:
- The product list of the order
- Invoice total
The Customer will receive a payment confirmation from Paytrail Plc, indicating the amount of the payment, the payment code and the date of payment. The subscriber can contact the LUT-University Student Union office ([email protected] / +358 452 612 670 ) for any questions related to the payment transaction.
Payment methods
Products and shipping are paid at the time of ordering. Customer can pay online using following payment methods: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Ålandsbanken, Handelsbanken, S-Pankki, Aktiai, POP Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Flexible invoice and instalment methods, OP invoice, OP account credit, Walley, Alisa Bank Corporate Invoice. Payment is made through the Paytrail Plc website.
Payment service provider
The payment service is provided by Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj appears as the recipient of the payment on the bank statement or card bill and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is a licensed payment institution. In case of complaints, please contact the supplier of the product in the first instance.

Delivery methods and time
LUT-University Student Union posts products every working day. We aim to deliver the products as quickly as possible on the working day after the order is placed, provided the product is in stock. If the product is not available directly from our stock, the delivery time may be slightly longer. The delivery methods available for the order will be shown in the shopping cart and at checkout.
Delivery method:
- Postal pick-up parcel.
- Pick-up from the selected LUT-University Student Union office
The customer can choose either a pick-up parcel or a pick-up from the LUT-University Student Union office. If the customer chooses a pick-up point parcel locker, the order will be delivered to the nearest Posti branch. If the customer chooses the pick-up option, they can pick up their order at the office selected when placing the order. The customer will receive a separate notification of the arrival of the parcel by SMS, as long as they have filled in the phone number at the ordering stage. Deliveries to domestic addresses only. International deliveries must be arranged separately.
Exchange and return conditions
Products sold in the LUT-University Student Union’s online store have a 14-day exchange and return policy. The product must be unused. Returns are made by taking the product to the same pick-up point from which the product was picked up.
If returning by Post, the customer must pay the return costs.
The right of return does not apply to event tickets and appointments. Refunds can be claimed for tickets for canceled events and in some special cases.
Returns can be made free of charge at the office, either by name or by showing a receipt for the order. The product must be properly packed in a carrier bag or equivalent.
The LUT University Student Union does not accept returns more than 14 days after receipt of delivery. Once the return has been accepted, we will send the customer an email with instructions on how to return the money. The money will be returned to the bank account if payment was made by bank transfer. If the payment was made by card payment, the payment will be returned directly to the card. If the payment was made by invoice or installment payment, the invoice will be canceled.
Problems in transport and defective products
If a product is lost in transit, damaged or the wrong product has been delivered to the customer, the customer should report the fault immediately to [email protected]

Notification of incorrect delivery or defective products must be made as soon as possible. If the package has been damaged in transit, a claim must be made immediately to the logistics partner.
The warranty conditions can also be found in the instructions for use, on a separate warranty form or on the web address provided by the manufacturer.

We reserve the right to change our delivery conditions. Before placing an order, the customer should consult the current delivery conditions.
