The application period for the LTKY board is open from Thursday 6.11. to Wednesday 19.11.2025.
The LTKY Board offers a unique opportunity to participate in interdisciplinary cooperation, influence our entire community, and be involved in national-level activities and advocacy, for example, by developing networks and collaborating with other student unions. Experience in board work is not necessarily required, as enthusiasm for working for the common good and a desire to learn new things will take you a long way! During your year on the board, you will become part of various networks, develop your skills in different areas, and have the opportunity to present your own ideas to a large audience.
A total of 8 board members are sought for the board, whose main tasks in Lappeenranta include vice-chair, communications, social policy, education policy, Lappeenranta events and culture. In Lahti, board members are responsible for events, culture, and well-being on the Lahti campus. In Lahti, the division of labor will be determined according to the wishes of the new board members.

A panel discussion with the board applicants will be held on November 20 from 4 to 6 pm. More information about the event and spaces will be provided later. Applicants will also be interviewed separately by the former of the board. The new board will be elected at the representative council meeting on Tuesday 2.12.2025.
