The Student Union of LUT University (LTKY) represents 7,800 undergraduate and postgraduate students studying at LUT University in Lappeenranta, Lahti, Turku, Kouvola, and Mikkeli. We enable an outstanding student experience and support students in becoming positive forces of change in society. Our compact team operates across two campuses in Lahti and Lappeenranta.
The Membership Services Coordinator is responsible for LTKY’s membership services in Lahti and serves as a link between the student union, guilds, and associations. The coordinator manages the reservations and upkeep of LTKY’s rental spaces and oversees the maintenance of the student union’s equipment. Additionally, the role involves assisting the board in organizing student union events and working at the student union’s service desk. This position is based on the Lahti campus.

- Enthusiastic customer service attitude
- Accuracy in handling numbers and paperwork
- Independent work approach
- Willingness to maintain facilities and ensure smooth operations
- Ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes rapidly changing environment
- Good command of English or Finnish
Considered an advantage:
- Experience in event organization
- Customer service experience
- Good skills in both finnish and english is seen as advantage
The Membership Services Coordinator position is permanent, with a working time of 20 hours per week. The employment contract follows the collective agreement for student unions, with a salary based on pay group II, amounting to €945.32/month plus possible supplements. A six-month probation period applies. The employment will begin on August 15th.
