About the facilities
Basement
The facilities of student union building basement are owned by the student union. The facilities have been renovated on 2022 and are good for various type of activities. The facilities are suitable for table parties, game nights and other events. If you would like to see the facilities or need more information please contact [email protected].
The facilities are available for everyone to rent but the prices are more affordable to the members of the student union.
ATTN! Events with a participation fee only in cooperation with LTKY member associations or guilds.

Upper floor of Student Union Building
Study rooms in the upper floor of Student Union Building are managed by LUT. Tekniikan Akateemiset (TEK) have participated in the renovation of the study rooms. You can book your own reservation for free here.
You can book the large Yo-Studio space upstairs by sending a message to [email protected] or directly from the LTKY office. Yo-Studio availability can be checked here

Conditions of use: basement, sauna and sauna cabinet
§ 1 The person reserving the space undertakes to pay the usage fee according to the price list to the student union for reserving the space.
§ 2 The space booker is obliged to inspect the space before the start of the reservation, fill in the premises inspection form and return it when returning the key.
§ 3 The person reserving the space gets familiar with the cleaning instructions for the space and follows them. Additional cleaning work will be invoiced separately, if necessary, according to the cleaning service provider’s invoicing. If the space is messy at the start of the reservation, the space booker is obliged to inform the coordinator* about it with a photo.
§ 4 The person reserving the space is liable for compensation for the full value of the damage caused to the property or chattels, and the person reserving the space is obliged to report the damage to the coordinator*. When the insurance compensates the damage, the booker compensates the amount of the deductible paid by the student union.
§ 5 The premises must be cleaned, empty and in order by the end of the reservation, no later than 08:00 in the morning, unless a later handover of the premises has been agreed in advance.
§ 6 The person booking the space carefully familiarizes himself with the security instructions of the space and follows them during the reservation.
§ 7 The space reserver is obliged to inform the student union of the reason for his reservation. If the stated purpose of use is deviated from, the student union has the right to suspend the reservation and empty the premises.
§ 8 Smoking and staying overnight on the premises is strictly prohibited.
§ 9 The space booker is responsible for not violating Finnish law, good manners and the spirit of Skinnarila during the reservation. LTKY has the right to demand the establishment of order control at events with more than 100 people.
§ 10 If the booker violates any of the previous sections, the board of the student union has the right to ban the booker from using the student union’s premises and goods.
§ 11 Space reservation can be canceled free of charge 2 weeks before the reservation date.
