Pay the healthcare fee now!

The amount of the university student’s healthcare fee is reviewed annually. The fee is EUR 35.80 per semester in 2021. It is paid to Kela every semester. You will not be sent an invoice, but the payment must be paid on your own initiative. The due date for the spring semester is January 31st, if you have registered to attend by then.
If you have paid the Student Union membership fee in the fall, it has not included the healthcare fee for the spring semester of 2021.
If you do not pay the healthcare fee by the due date, Kela will remind you to pay the fee. If the healthcare fee is paid after the due date, Kela will charge a fixed delay fee of 5 euros. If you do not pay the health care fee even after the payment reminder, Kela can acknowledge, ie deduct the fee and the late payment fee from the tuition fee without your consent. If the payment cannot be acknowledged from the student grant, the healthcare fee is transferred to foreclosure by law.

See here for instructions on payment!
