Lappeenranta Christmas Market opens at the Market Square on Saturday December 4th

Lappeenranta Christmas Market consists of familiar red cottages where you can shop for Christmas. This year, the cottages offer everything from traditional handcrafts and pastries to Highland meat products and cane horses.

A separate event area will be built next to the Christmas Market, which will include a performance of the Kimpinen School’s music class choir on weekdays at noon.

On Sunday December 12th, there will be a feasting moment when the SaiPa and Lappeenranta Energia charity Christmas porridge event will be held from 12 noon. At the event, key players from saiPa’s ice hockey team will arrive to distribute Christmas porridge for 300 doses to all interested parties.

On Saturday December 17th at 12 noon, the market will declare the traditional Christmas peace of animals. The event, which will be held for the fourth time at Christmas Market, is organized by the Animal Welfare Association of Southeast Finland.

Lappeenranta Christmas Market will be held 4.–23.12.2021 – Lappeenranta Market Square
Open Mon-Fri 10–16, Sat-Sun 10–14
