Welcome to Pikkupikkujoulut pre-christmas party, hosted by LTKY and TEK! We have christmas snacks at TEK Lounge and you can craft christmas cards. The event is for everyone and we hope many will come to meet friends and new people.

Torchlight procession of independence day
LTKY’s traditional torchlight procession of independence day is held on Finland’s independence day 6.12.! The procession starts at 18:00 from the Lappeenranta market square and ends in a memorial celebration at the central graveyard. So join us and come to celebrate Finland’s independence in this traditional and graceful event.
A bus to the event leaves at 17:15 from the university. The bus leaves back to the university after the procession at 19:00. More information on Facebook-event page.
DC: Clean outdoor clothing and teekkari/kylteri/student cap (NO fresher cap). The event is entirely outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather and warmly.

Christmas markets opens 3.12.
Lappeenranta Christmas markets and familiar red cabins will be at the market square from 3 to 23 December. Christmas markets is open from Tue to Thu 10-17, on Fri 10-19 and on weekend 10-14.
On Christmas markets you can do christmas shopping, buy christmas delicasies or just enjoy the atmosphere. From the red cabins you can find small business owners, arts and crafts, snacks, design products and more.
Christmas markets opens 3 December at 10:00 in an opening ceremony event at market square.

Hi student! Do you want to take a break from studying and hangout with others? Have you just moved to Lappeenranta because of studies and wish to get to know other students?
Come to YHES-meeting place, have a cup of coffee and hangout with other people.
YHES-meeting place for students is open every Wednesday from 5.30 to 7.30 pm at Punkkerikatu 5 (LOAS club room) until 14 December.
