Temporary part-time campus monitor jobs for students in Lappeenranta and Lahti

LUT and LAB are looking for campus monitors to promote safety during the coronavirus pandemic.
The campus monitors remind people about safe conduct on campus, especially in hallways, lobbies and restaurant areas. Other duties may be issued by Facility Services as needed. The work takes place on the Lappeenranta and Lahti campuses. The  monitors will wear a plastic face shield and, if needed, also a face mask.
The duties require a positive attitude and calm demeanor. Training and experience as a security steward are an advantage. The work is part-time and mainly takes place from Monday to Friday between 7:30 and 16:30. The fixed-term jobs starts on 31 August 2020 and ends on 25 September 2020. The job is temporary because the pandemic situation and official guidelines related to campuses may change. The salary is determined by the university salary system, job grade 4, performance percentage 6. This corresponds to 2 012.16 euros/month. The monthly salary takes into account the part-time nature of the work.
Please send your free-form application and possible questions by e-mail.

Do you want to act as a support family or person for a child / young person?

Sometimes there are situations in families with children where parental resources decrease. Relatives may live far away and there is not enough support for the child in the family’s immediate circle. Support relationships are a service organized by Eksote in accordance with the Social Welfare Act, which supports the child’s or young person’s opportunities for new stimuli and new relationships that support growth and development. At the same time, supporting the parent’s resilience by giving them time to increase their own resources.
Different support families and support people are needed so that each child can find an adult who exactly meets his or her needs. Those who want to be a support person or a support family are interviewed and trained in the activity.
Training of volunteers in Lappeenranta on Tuesday 22.9. and 29.9. 17-20.
