Be heard. Alive.

Introducing allocations: Put In

This article is part of series called “Council elections”. Here is the other articles of the series:

  1. Council election approaches – are you ready?
  2.  Introducing allocations: Put In

We follow our dreams

Leaving countries far away,

to study in Finland, some hope to stay

It’s not always as easy as it seems

Last elections, only two foreigners were elected

Internationals were almost neglected

Policies made, though often times well-meant,

whose needs did they really represent?

Our council should be international,

passional while being rational

We should be there for our students worldwide

Representing our cultures in which we take pride

So why vote for Put In?

Our coalition might be small,

but we will be there for you all

At least, if you make us win.

This poem was brought to you by Put In and written by Yannick Schuurmans. We hope for your consideration in the elections!
