Application for deputy member for LENS (LUT School of Engineering Science) academic council is open. The term begins immediately and ends 31.12.2023. The Academic Council e.g. decides on the curricula of the academic unit, makes proposals for the filling of the posts of the unit and issues dissertation permits. The Academic Council meets about once a month during the academic year, so time is spent including preparation for meetings, 5-10 hours per month, depending on the month. The Student Union of LUT University publishes the yearly OLS survey (Quality survey about teaching). The feedback is an important channel for LTKY and LUT to develop their activities and we would like to hear valuable feedback from you students. The themes that emerge in the survey are experiences related to smooth running and load of studies and also the quality of teaching. This spring we will have one more round of orders for teekkari caps. The 3rd round of orders is the last chance to get a teekkari cap for this Wappu so, if you still don’t have one, order yours now!
