News from LTKY

LTKY is searching for freshman captains for LES and LENS for next year!

As international students are a growing part of our community, we are recruiting two new Freshman Captains (fuksivastaava, FV) to guide our international degree students and exchange students to the intricacies of Teekkari culture. The goal is to better integrate international students to SVV and provide equal opportunities to partake in our culture. We are seeking two individuals to take on the duties of freshman captains for the academic year of 20-21. These new FC’s will be on equal standing with traditional FV’s of guilds and essentially do the same exact job, just to a cross-disciplinary, international group of students. The requirements for this task are the following:
-You must have the title of Teekkari or Kylteri when the autumn semester starts (freshmen can apply)
-Ideally you are a student of the school you’re applying to (this is not compulsory)
-good grasp of the English language
-You enjoy socializing in an international setting
-strong knowledge of Teekkari culture, traditions of your guild(and perhaps other guilds of your school) and Student culture of Skinnarila in general
-Time and the motivation to attend events, introduce international students to life as a Teekkari and act as an exemplary Teekkari during the upcoming year.
-The x-factor that makes a good Freshman CaptainSend your freeform application to before 15.3.. The captains are chosen by the chairmen of the school’s guilds.
P.S. Enklaavi is handling their own international students, they are not being excluded :)
